Everything you need to know about verified reviews, points, rewards and life as a business on Gron. Still stuck? We're here.

Reviews & verification

What makes a review “verified” on Gron?

Every published review is tied to a real proof of purchase: a receipt, an order confirmation, a delivery email or an invoice screenshot. Without that proof, the review simply isn't published. It's our non-negotiable rule: no proof, no review.

What proofs of purchase are accepted?

A photo or PDF of your receipt, an order or delivery confirmation email, a screenshot of your purchase history, or any document that links your account to the transaction. Sensitive details (card numbers, etc.) can be blurred out: we only need to verify the purchase.

Why require proof when other platforms don't?

Because it's the only way to stop fake reviews at scale. An anonymous review with no proof can be written by a competitor, a bot or a paid agency. Here, one review maps to a real person and a real purchase. Fewer reviews, but reviews you can trust.

Can I leave a negative review?

Yes, and it will never be removed just because it stings. As long as it's honest, tied to a real purchase and free of illegal or defamatory content, a critical review absolutely belongs. The business can reply publicly, not make it disappear.

Is my personal data visible?

No. Your proof of purchase is used only for verification and stays confidential. Only your display name and the content of your review are public. You stay in control and can request deletion of your data at any time.

Points & rewards

How do you earn points?

By posting verified reviews. The more value a review brings, the more it earns: a proven review earns points, a detailed one earns more, and one backed by a photo or video earns more still. Quality and proof are rewarded, not just tapping five stars.

What are points for?

They're redeemed in the rewards marketplace for discount codes, gift cards and gifts from partner brands. Your honest reviews turn into very real perks.

Do points expire?

Your points stay valid as long as your account is active. We'll warn you well in advance if a reward or a partner offer is about to end, so you can make the most of it in time.

Can I buy points?

No, and that's by design. Points can't be bought: they're only earned through verified reviews. That's what guarantees an active profile reflects real contributions, not a wallet.

For businesses

How do I claim my business page?

Search for your business on Gron, then click “Claim this page”. After we verify that you're responsible for it, you get access to your dashboard to reply to reviews, track your stats and customise your profile.

Can a business delete reviews it doesn't like?

No. No business can have an honest, verified review taken down. It can reply publicly, and report a review that breaks our rules (illegal content, off-topic, no link to a real purchase): our team decides, never the business.

Can businesses invite their customers to leave a review?

Yes, it's even encouraged. You can invite your real customers to share their experience after a purchase. The only condition is the same for everyone: every review must be backed by a proof of purchase.

How much does being on Gron cost?

A basic business page is free: it lets you be present and reply to reviews. Paid subscriptions add advanced features (widgets, in-depth analytics, promotion). Full plan details are on the Businesses page.

How do verified reviews actually help my business?

Trust drives sales. Proven reviews convert better than anonymous stars, reassure new customers and give you honest, actionable feedback to improve. It's a volume of reliable reviews rather than an inflated average that fools no one anymore.
